Holidays
We had a great Thanksgiving and we hope everyone out there had a great one as well. We have got up our Christmas tree and starting today Kaylee and I are going to start making at least one Christmas craft a day. Yes I will make the older participate in the occasional craft. They will moan and groan when they read this post. I think today we are going to make a 25 days of Christmas countdown. I will post what we do. I am so excited for the Holidays I love this time of year and love to think of our dear Savior's birth. We made the construction paper links for our family home evening and we put 1st day of Christmas all the way to 25th day and everyday we take off a link and eat the candy that we taped on back. Still trying to decide what to do tomorrow. I am not taking pictures because they did not turn out as pretty as I wanted them too. My hands and shoulder make it difficult to work on crafts. Thank goodness for Ryan and Nikki they help me so much. And of couse my sweet Mike, he is just so helpful when I am hurting this bad. I love this weather, but it causes me alot of pain. My family is very special and very loving. I truly am more thankful for them than just about anything in my life. They sure make each day worth living.

Logan is 4
It is not that I really have anything to post about. Nothing major is happening..... execpt for my sweet little nephew will be 4 years old tomorrow. I cannot believe how fast the years are going. I distinctly remember when he was born and the sweet little baby he was. Now he is 4 and we were able to go to his house yesterday and help celebrate his birthday. He was more excited about seeing all of us ,especially Kyle,(yes I am a little jealous lol, that he did not even get excite dover his presents. Oh no he was more interested in us chasing him and hugging him and just being with us. What a sweet child he is he was so sad at bedtime. I just love you Logan Happy 4th Birthday I hope tomorrow is the best day for you. Hugs and kisses to my little guy.

Fall Fun
Nikki, Kaylee and I went to Cedarwood Pumpkin Patch today. We got there aroung 930am and we were the only ones there. So we went around looking at things, Kaylee loved the hay ride and hated the petting zoo. Everytime we went into the petting zoo she would just cry so we basically stayed away from it. But she loved looking for herself a pumpkin and Nikki just enjoys doing things with me and Kaylee. Here are some pictures of the things we did:
We had so much fun with our girls day out. I just wish it had been warmer. Oh well there is always next year. Fall is in the air and I love it. I just love all the season's and I am so grateful to have them all to enjoy.

My choice
I am so excited I got this today:
The reason I got this is because I went and put a check by the names of those I think will lead this country the best of all the candidates. If only it had been Mitt Romney O well. I still feel good about my votes. I am on a voting high so everyone else go and get your voting high. Just please vote for the best candidate that our country needs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Autumn Street Fair
This past Saturday we had our autumn street fair here. It was fun, but of course I was sick from my shoulder hurting so bad. Ryan's band director also hosted a competition here that day. They performed early at the street fair and then proceeded to the middle school for the competition. I missed all of Ryan's events but I made it to Nikki's for a short time. Here are some of the pics I took that day:
This is the middle school chearleaders booth at the fair. They were selling baked goods, gallon jug ghosts, hair bows, tatoos, painting pumpkins and just buy a pumpkin and not paint it. I hope that they made a lot of money. The pumpkin painting seemed to be doing well the short time I was there.
I hope everyone who went stopped and helped to support our cheerleaders. Thanks so much if you did take the time to do that I am so proud of all three of my children.

Saturday chaos
Yes that is exactly what it felt like. Ryan always has band events on Saturdays and he always has to be there early. I mean like 730 and 800 every Saturday morning. My husband and I have an agreement for the most part, every Saturday is my day to sleep in and every Sunday is his day to sleep. Well because of band I don't get my sleep in day because we have to get up together to get everything together. Now like I have stated previously I love my kids being involved in activities. I just miss my sleep in days. Ok sorry for the vent but I am over it now.

The youngins
I feel like I talk about Kaylee so much but she really is my world right now. Everything I do revolves around her needs; and I am missing so much of my older twos lives right now. Not to mention that my shoulder has been giving me major problems for over a month now. But back on the subject of Ryan and Nikki; they are both very involved in school activities. Nikki absolutely loves cheering and Ryan is very dedicated to band I have few pictures of them at their finest:
Here they are waiting for good old mom to catch up with them while at Fall Creek Falls.
Ryan making Digger stop barking at the neighbor kids:
Nikki cheering she is just so pretty :
They are both doing well academically as well; they are both good students and have some really good friends. I look forward to seeing the people they will be as adults. Nikki has decided that she is going to be a forensic scientist which is just an awesome choice for her. She will excell in this she loves science and math. Last I heard Ryan wants to be a Veternarian which is also a great field ( if that is still his goal). They are both very smart and very determined people and will do well in whatever they choose to do. I am very happy that I have such great children!!! Love you guys!

Kaylee's first hair cut
Today Kaylee had her first hair cut. It has been hard for me to get this done because it just another way of her getting bigger. But Tosha took care of me and she oly took off a tiny bit. You cannot even see that she has got it done. We are wanting to grow it all long and then style it. Anyway here is the before and after pics. Try not to laugh, here is the before pic:
Now here is the after:
Not a big difference but I think it looks better and is not so flyaway. Anyway it was still a big event for me and she was so good thatI took her to the jungle jym afterward. She did not cry, whine, or try to get away from Tosha I was so proud of her. And I promise the next post will be about one of the other kids they both have exciting things going on in their lives also. I am just missing most of it. Kaylee is still early to bed and early to rise and Mike goes to the other kids events while I take care of her. So I will steal some of his pics and boast about them also.

County Fair
As long as I can remember I have gone to the county fair. The sights, sounds, and smells are just so nostalgic. Now my kids enjoy all of these sensations as well. My two older ones do not go with me now, they go with their friends. So I have one pic of Ryan and none of Nikki at the fair. But the baby still enjoys my company lol !!!!! Well here are some of the things we enjoyed while we where there:
Kaylee is enjoying her first candy apple.
Here she is ok on the horses:
Then it starts moving:
She jumped into brothers arms so fast it was so so funny. By the way that the only picture I got of Ryan at the fair.
Here Kaylee and my best friend Dianna are feeding the camel at the petting zoo:
\
And here me and Kaylee are making friends with one of the goats:
I really had a good time and I hope that Kaylee will enjoy it more next year when she can ride more of the kids rides.

More about school days
I feel like I haven't posted in a while even though I don't have a lot to say; I thought I would just catch up on my older two. They are both enjoying school very much this year. Nikki has had two games so far and Ryan has had 3 I believe. I love that my kids enjoy all of these activities and that they put 100% into everything. I am so proud of them, and they still come home and do their share here. I thank God every night for sending me such helpful loving kids. Ryan went to the fair tonight and the band played. I then let him go walking around and just have some what I call "free time". When we called him to leave he met us and Kaylee ran and gave him a great big hug and he said "Can I take her to the petting zoo?" I am just so glad that they love their little sister. Well boring I know but it just touches my heart to see how well my older two treat the littlest.

School days
It finally hit me today when I went to pick Nikki up at school. She is just a year away from high school and Ryan is just two years away from graduation. I am trying not to be sad but it just seems so sudden. It was like overnight from kids to young adults with lives and interests away from me. I am proud that they are confident happy people but sad that it has flown by so quickly. I remember the gap toothed kids the runny nosed toddlers and the giggling infants. Days like this make me relish Kaylee and her young age even more. I hope that she stays little longer for me. I sure do love these sweet kids of mine

Summer days are so fun
I took the kids down to the creek near the house. I got a few pictures of them but it not great quality (it was my cell phone). But we had a blast and plan to go back again as soon as we have a chance. I hope that it will be soon. It was so nice to spend that time together.
This was a cute picture so I had to share. I think she had more fun than any of us:
That is all for now. Thanks for all the comments you guys leave me. I hope you enjoy reading our blog.

more updates
I have not posted in while so I thought I would do a week in review. Tuesday Mike and I went out on a date afternoon. Wednesdays are always my busiest day. I get to dread Wednesdays with a passion. Thursday I cooked all day and then Nikki had registration at the Middle School last night. Today I plan on going shopping for school supplies for the kids. And tomorrow will be clothes shopping day. I really enjoy clothes shopping day because the older two actually go with me and I make them stay with me so it is my time with them. I dread school starting the older two are both so involved that they are gone constantly. They have done so much to help with the baby during the summer. I will miss all that they do too help me. I love them so much and am grateful that they are my children. This is Nikki's last year at the middle school and Ryan has just three more years of high school before he graduates. I know it is just the cycle of life but I want to enjoy these last years of all of us being together before they leave me to start college and so forth.

Summer fun
Well Ryan has been at band camp all week and Nikki has been at her friends house so I decided to take Kaylee to The Gilley Pool. We had a real good time now my other two are wantin g to go so we will probably go again soon. Kaylee was so tired and it was way past nap time but she was a real trooper. She did fall asleep in her car seat on the way home. I am going to post a few pictures. Next week Ryan will be gone all week for band camp in Cookeville.
This is Sarah and her neice Holly they came so that Kaylee would have someone to play with. I think they had fun together.
She loved the frog she kept playing on it. She even went down the slide yay Kaylee!!
We also got to keep Abby the other day and it was so fun. Abby did great poor Kaylee was a little jealous of someone else having mommy's attention. But she was much better after she woke up from her nap.

Independance Day
Too begin with I hope everyone had a safe and happy holiday weekend. I also want to take the opportunity to thank all of our servicemen and their families for continuing the support of this great nation. And for the security and freedom that we enjoy; my thoughts and prayers are with all of you. THANKS!!!! My family enjoyed a four day weekend. We went to several barbecues and got to enjoy several fireworks displays. I have a couple of pics to share with all.
I like this one the best:

Well Mike finally got the second seat for his motorcycle and I have got to ride with him everyday since Saturday. We bought another helmet also and got a picture with me and the kids wearing it. Nikki is the ony one who did not look awful in it so hers is the only picture I am going to post.
Kaylee does look sweet sitting on the bike. She is growing up so fast on us. All of my kids are growing up to fast. I have really enjoyed raising my kids. I will post more pictures soon.

HAPPY FATHER'S DAY
I can't believe how fast this year is going by. It is already time to celebrate your dad and your children's dad. My dad is just great and so is my husband I hope they both have a great day today. This is what Mike got for father's day:
This is something he has been wanting for a while and since he wanted it so bad I agreed. Everyone thinks I am crazy, but I don't see anything wrong with him having this. He works hard and is a great husband and father. Mike I love you Happy Father's Day ( Happy anniversary, Happy Birthday, Merry Christmas........for a while. lol).
Well since he ended up getting the Harley we also have to have a place to keep it hence this:
Right now he is outside getting everything moved over and just cleaning up around the yard and shed. I really do appreciate my wonderful husband!!!!!

Birthdays
Today my wonderful mother-in-law is celebrating her birthday. She is one of the best people I know and my kids love her so much. They always want to go to Mamie's and Pa's to visit. I never have to make them or guilt them into it because they just enjoy being there so much they consider it a treat to go. She has all of her grandkids wrapped around her little finger. Happy Birthday Mamie we love you lots:

Kaylee's room
Because our house is so small the baby shares a room with me and her daddy. That is the reason I have not really decorated too much. But today I finally hung up her name sign her Aunt Chelle got her and the stuffed blanket teddy I had her name embroidered on. I could not get a real good picture of it but here is the best one that I have.
I really love the yellow and pink it is so pretty together. Thank you Aunt Chelle I absolutely love it and I am glad I finally got it up.

Fun with the kids
I started thinking about all that we did in May as a family,we really had a good time. We took the kids to the aquarium in Chattanooga. I also took Kaylee to the hands on discovery center in Murfreesboro. I am going to try to find some pictures to show how much fun we had. We plan on taking the kids to the zoo in Nashville and also taking them back to the aquarium. We also are talking about taking them to numerous places in and around our community. We have been talking about how soon our oldest will be graduating and how soon he will be out on his own, hopefully in college. I really hope that he goes to BYU. But I am trying not to pressure too much. Anyway here are some pictures of some of our outings:
This is outside the aquarium Nikki and Kaylee were playing in water.
Ryan found him a friend in the butterfly room at the aquarium.
I could not find any pictures from the discovery center but Kaylee had a blast. I will take bunches next time we go.
