Autumn Street Fair

This past Saturday we had our autumn street fair here. It was fun, but of course I was sick from my shoulder hurting so bad. Ryan's band director also hosted a competition here that day. They performed early at the street fair and then proceeded to the middle school for the competition. I missed all of Ryan's events but I made it to Nikki's for a short time. Here are some of the pics I took that day:

This is the middle school chearleaders booth at the fair. They were selling baked goods, gallon jug ghosts, hair bows, tatoos, painting pumpkins and just buy a pumpkin and not paint it. I hope that they made a lot of money. The pumpkin painting seemed to be doing well the short time I was there.

I hope everyone who went stopped and helped to support our cheerleaders. Thanks so much if you did take the time to do that I am so proud of all three of my children.

Saturday chaos

Yes that is exactly what it felt like. Ryan always has band events on Saturdays and he always has to be there early. I mean like 730 and 800 every Saturday morning. My husband and I have an agreement for the most part, every Saturday is my day to sleep in and every Sunday is his day to sleep. Well because of band I don't get my sleep in day because we have to get up together to get everything together. Now like I have stated previously I love my kids being involved in activities. I just miss my sleep in days. Ok sorry for the vent but I am over it now.

The youngins

I feel like I talk about Kaylee so much but she really is my world right now. Everything I do revolves around her needs; and I am missing so much of my older twos lives right now. Not to mention that my shoulder has been giving me major problems for over a month now. But back on the subject of Ryan and Nikki; they are both very involved in school activities. Nikki absolutely loves cheering and Ryan is very dedicated to band I have few pictures of them at their finest:
Here they are waiting for good old mom to catch up with them while at Fall Creek Falls.

Ryan making Digger stop barking at the neighbor kids:

Nikki cheering she is just so pretty :

They are both doing well academically as well; they are both good students and have some really good friends. I look forward to seeing the people they will be as adults. Nikki has decided that she is going to be a forensic scientist which is just an awesome choice for her. She will excell in this she loves science and math. Last I heard Ryan wants to be a Veternarian which is also a great field ( if that is still his goal). They are both very smart and very determined people and will do well in whatever they choose to do. I am very happy that I have such great children!!! Love you guys!

Kaylee's first hair cut

Today Kaylee had her first hair cut. It has been hard for me to get this done because it just another way of her getting bigger. But Tosha took care of me and she oly took off a tiny bit. You cannot even see that she has got it done. We are wanting to grow it all long and then style it. Anyway here is the before and after pics. Try not to laugh, here is the before pic:

Now here is the after:

Not a big difference but I think it looks better and is not so flyaway. Anyway it was still a big event for me and she was so good thatI took her to the jungle jym afterward. She did not cry, whine, or try to get away from Tosha I was so proud of her. And I promise the next post will be about one of the other kids they both have exciting things going on in their lives also. I am just missing most of it. Kaylee is still early to bed and early to rise and Mike goes to the other kids events while I take care of her. So I will steal some of his pics and boast about them also.

County Fair

As long as I can remember I have gone to the county fair. The sights, sounds, and smells are just so nostalgic. Now my kids enjoy all of these sensations as well. My two older ones do not go with me now, they go with their friends. So I have one pic of Ryan and none of Nikki at the fair. But the baby still enjoys my company lol !!!!! Well here are some of the things we enjoyed while we where there:

Kaylee is enjoying her first candy apple.
Here she is ok on the horses:

Then it starts moving:

She jumped into brothers arms so fast it was so so funny. By the way that the only picture I got of Ryan at the fair.

Here Kaylee and my best friend Dianna are feeding the camel at the petting zoo:
\
And here me and Kaylee are making friends with one of the goats:

I really had a good time and I hope that Kaylee will enjoy it more next year when she can ride more of the kids rides.

More about school days

I feel like I haven't posted in a while even though I don't have a lot to say; I thought I would just catch up on my older two. They are both enjoying school very much this year. Nikki has had two games so far and Ryan has had 3 I believe. I love that my kids enjoy all of these activities and that they put 100% into everything. I am so proud of them, and they still come home and do their share here. I thank God every night for sending me such helpful loving kids. Ryan went to the fair tonight and the band played. I then let him go walking around and just have some what I call "free time". When we called him to leave he met us and Kaylee ran and gave him a great big hug and he said "Can I take her to the petting zoo?" I am just so glad that they love their little sister. Well boring I know but it just touches my heart to see how well my older two treat the littlest.
