Kaylee's room

Because our house is so small the baby shares a room with me and her daddy. That is the reason I have not really decorated too much. But today I finally hung up her name sign her Aunt Chelle got her and the stuffed blanket teddy I had her name embroidered on. I could not get a real good picture of it but here is the best one that I have.

I really love the yellow and pink it is so pretty together. Thank you Aunt Chelle I absolutely love it and I am glad I finally got it up.

Fun with the kids

I started thinking about all that we did in May as a family,we really had a good time. We took the kids to the aquarium in Chattanooga. I also took Kaylee to the hands on discovery center in Murfreesboro. I am going to try to find some pictures to show how much fun we had. We plan on taking the kids to the zoo in Nashville and also taking them back to the aquarium. We also are talking about taking them to numerous places in and around our community. We have been talking about how soon our oldest will be graduating and how soon he will be out on his own, hopefully in college. I really hope that he goes to BYU. But I am trying not to pressure too much. Anyway here are some pictures of some of our outings:

This is outside the aquarium Nikki and Kaylee were playing in water.

Ryan found him a friend in the butterfly room at the aquarium.
I could not find any pictures from the discovery center but Kaylee had a blast. I will take bunches next time we go.

Updates

I know it has been so long since my last post. I have not been too busy, just not idle either. We have had three birthdays and a graduation since my last post. Braden turned 5 on the 16th, my little man. My husband had a birthday on the 19th. And my sister had a birthday on the 20th. Of course that was all in May. Plus on May 16 my sister's oldest boy graduated high school. This weekend he is moving to Nashville with his dad to attend ITT. To say we are proud of him is an understatement. I was so proud for him graduation night. I think I teared up as much as his mom did. Nikki and Ryan and Kaylee are all good. Tomorrow I am starting to potty train Kaylee. WE will see how it goes. Nikki went to cheer camp last week in Murfreesboro and tomorrow she is leaving for church girl's camp. She is so excited she loves camp she will be in Crossville until Saturday. Ryan is trying to enjoy summer vavation as much as possible.

Saturday

Boy was yesterday busy for my family, especially Nikki. She went to the cheerleading yard sale from 6-11 am. She came home took a shower got dressed and was at pork and bands by 1:30. Ryan was also at pork and bands for high school band. They just hung out with their friends and then performed. Nikki,Kaylee and I left a little before six. Kaylee and I were worn out. Wwe went home and ate a little healthier food and Kaylee went to sleep. Ryan and Mike did not get home until after Kaylee and I fell asleep so I not sure when it was over with. I wish I had taken pictures it was really a great day. It turned out beautiful after the morning rain. We were concerned that it would be a wash out. Nikki's friend's mom hung out with me and helped with Kaylee, she was a blessing. I did not realize how tired I was and she ran after Kaylee and her kids played with her and I relaxed alot. Thanks Tracy I love you lots how lucky I am to have such great friends and my daughter to have such great friends. We are hoping to get together and take Nikki and Beth shopping for a girls day out. I am looking forward to it now I just have to convince dad or grandpa to keep Kaylee for me all day.

Another Birthday

Today is my daddy's 70th birthday. He is the best daddy in the world. I know that I always knew that he loved me. We gave him a birthday party for him this past Saturday. We had a lot of family in. I wished more of his brothers would have come. But other than that we had a good time. I am so grateful for my family. I have the best ever.

Sunday

Innocent looking toy huh? Well this and my Kaylee are the reason I did not attend church today. We were all dressed and ready to leave for church when I thought about my car keys. I looked in the usual places and then I started getting desperate. Ryan and I looked in the couch, turned the couches over; went thru the pants me and Mike wore yesterday. Looked everywhere we could possibly think about. Finally gave up at 9:45 and told Ryan to go ahead and get out of his church clothes. My darling hubby got up maybe an hour later and I told him I could not find my keys. He looked in three places and found it. Infurating huh? The place you ask: stuffed inside this innocent looking toy. Seems my darling daughter got hold of them sometime last night playing with them. Well my lesson is to remember to keep them up higher!!!!!

Spring Pictures

Well as you all know I am all about Spring. Today Nikki is going to get her cheerleading pictures made. We are going to sell posters and other things for fundraising. I enjoy doing things to help the kids. They both are such active individuals which I thoroughly approve of. Thay are also very helpful since Kaylee was born. I just enjoy them so much. We went to Riverfront Park to take pictures for Nikki and it was a beautiful day.
